Palak Paneer Recipe is a popular vegetable. Eating both spinach and paneer has its own advantages. This dish is very tasty, prepared by adding spinach’s gravy and putting pieces of cheese in them. This vegetarian paneer vegetable is very much liked by the vegetarian eater. This vegetable is mostly made in cold weather.

Ingredients for making spinach cheese: After boiling spinach, add gravy after grinding and after adding the spices. After this, pieces of cheese are inserted in the vegetable. If you want, a cream is also added in it.

Ingredients

  • ---For spinach paste: -
  • Spinach
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 8-10 Garlic
  • 3 Green chillies
  • 4-5 cups Water
  • 1/2 Tablespoons Salt
  • ----For Gravy:
  • 1 spoon Butter
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 10-12 pieces Paneer
  • 1 spoon Cumin
  • 1 inch Cinnamon
  • 3-4 grains Long cloves
  • 2 grains Cardamom
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1 teaspoon Kushi methi (dry fenugreek leaf)
  • 1 Onion (chopped)
  • 1 Tomato (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • Salt as taste
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 50 grams Cream.
  • Oil 25 gm (4 teaspoons)

Instructions

  1. Take spinach 2 medium size bundles.
  2. blanch in boiling water for 2 minutes.
  3. Dip in ice cold water immediately.
  4. Now filter it and put it in a mixer jar to make a paste.
  5. Add ginger garlic and green chillies to it and make a paste. And here we have made our paste.
  6. Heat in a pan add 1 tbsp butter in it. After the butter is melted, add the pieces of cheese in it and fry it lightly on low flame.
  7. Then pour the oil in it and heat it, add cumin, cinnamon, long, small cardamom and fenugreek.
  8. Then add onion on it and roast it.
  9. Add 1/4 tsp turmeric,1 tsp red chilli powder, salt saute few seconds.
  10. Then add spinach paste in it and roast it for a while.
  11. Then add fried paneer to it and if the spinach is too thick (thik), then add some water and cook it for 5-7 minutes.
  12. Then add cooking cream to it and mix it. And our paneer has become ready.
  13. Ready to Serve with Roti, Naan
