Ingredients

  • 400 gms- Paneer (Cottage Cheese )
  • 1 1/2 cup- Curd
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam Masala powder
  • 1 tbsp chat Masala
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp Tandoori Masala
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 5 tbsp oil or Butter
  • 1 pinch red food colour
  • 2 green Capsicums cut it into 2 inches cubes
  • 1 large Onion cut it into 2 inches cubes
  • 10 skewer sticks
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. cut paneer into 2 inches cubes
  2. Add red chilly powder, garam masala powder, tandoori masala, chat masala, cumin powder, red food colour (optional), salt mix all the masalas and powders in a bowl with curd and lemon.
  3. Now add paneer (cottage cheese) into this mixture and marinate for 1-2 hours.
  4. Add capsicum and mix gently.
  5. Add onion cubes and mix well.
  6. Now keep it in the refrigerator for an hour.
  7. Take the skewers n start threading capsicum, onion, paneer, onion and capsicum cubes in that order. In each skewer, you have to add 2-3 marinated paneer cubes.
  8. Heat non-stick tawa on gas. Pour 1 tbsp oil or butter on the tawa.
  9. Place your marinated paneer tikka sticks on the non-stick tawa and cover with a lid.
  10. Cook on a low flame and every few mints check and turn your paneer tikka sticks and cook well and then Apply little oil with the help of a brush.
  11. Now Ready to Serve Paneer Tikka with Green chutney.
